This summer, White Rock Tennis Club will be offering structured fitness sessions to support the development of its young athletes. Led by Liam Sullivan, a strength and conditioning coach with over 10 years of experience working with youth athletes and current Athletic Director at The Tennis Centre Surrey, these sessions are designed to complement on-court tennis training.
Each session is one hour in length and focuses on age-appropriate foundational movement skills, including speed, agility, change of direction, coordination, and tennis-specific movement patterns. The aim is to help athletes build a strong athletic base that supports both performance and long-term development.
Registration is open for ages 5-18, and includes 12 sessions running Thursdays and Sundays from July 5th to August 27th, with no sessions on July 19, July 23, July 26, or July 30. Cost is $12 per session, or $144 for the full program. The fitness will follow each age group’s tennis sessions.
WRTC Summer Fitness Schedule
July 5th - August 27th (Excluding July 19, 23, 26, + 30th)
5-6pm: Ages 5-9
6-7pm: Ages 10-13
7-8pm: Ages 13-18
